A gentle woodland retreat for the woman who is ready to rest, soften, and come back to herself.
Rooted by the Dunes is intentionally designed for women who are always managing schedules and tasks, creating havens for others, and yearning for REAL rest for themselves.
The intention is to offer:
- A safe space, where your system can let down
- Grounding and movement to release stored emotions.
- A feminine space, with other, like-minded women who are ready to embrace their power
- A luxurious home as a base for the retreat and the ability to stay close by if desired, or explore more. The choice is yours.
This retreat exists so you do not have to wait for someday or the perfect timing to choose yourself.
Who is This Retreat for?
The woman who is burnt out and searching for clarity on her next steps.
She has been strong for a long time. She is tired of pushing. She is ready to slow down, regulate her nervous system, and hear her own inner guidance again.
The woman craving rest, sisterhood, and space to be held.
She gives so much to others and quietly longs for support herself. She desires meaningful connection, mature community, and a container where she does not have to perform.
The woman who feels called to nature, quiet luxury, and tools that last.
She wants more than a weekend escape. She wants grounding practices, breath-work, journaling, and somatic tools she can carry home and support before, during, and after each retreat.
An Incredible Itinerary Awaits
WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE THREE DAYS
This three-night retreat begins with a gentle Thursday evening arrival at 5 PM, inviting your body to slow down and your nervous system to settle as you enter a safe, supportive space. Over the following days, you are nourished through thoughtfully prepared meals based on the retreat tier you choose, gentle movement, sound bath healing, journaling, and time in nature, all designed to support deep rest and release. The rhythm of the retreat allows old patterns and limiting beliefs to soften as your body and mind experience safety, care, and spaciousness. Our time together closes with a shared final dinner and heartfelt closing circle on Saturday evening, honoring the healing that has unfolded. Sunday morning offers a quiet transition with coffee and grab and go breakfast before departure by 10 AM, so you leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more connected to yourself.

Testimonials
TRANSFORMATIONAL SHARES FROM PAST RETREATS
"Before the retreat, I felt stressed, anxious, and confused. But through Sarah and the other women's connection, support, love, and understanding. I was able to see my path forward with clarity and have a tough conversation with my boss to let her know I needed a different fit, and she took it so well!! This retreat felt like a warm hug for my mind, body, and soul. It was EXACTLY what I needed to remember WHO I AM AND WHAT I'M WORTH!! YOU DESERVE THIS! "
Nicole (Michigan)
"From the moment I met Sarah, I felt held by her warmth, compassion, and steady presence. There is something in her energy that invites you to soften, exhale, and open in ways you didn’t realize you needed. I came into the retreat weekend, knowing I had not been prioritizing myself at work. I was feeling emotional, confused, and anxious. Through the healing practices in our retreat, I left feeling empowered, more connected to myself, beautiful, loved, and ready to take on the rest of my life. You will NOT regret this life-changing experience. "
Angela (Florida)
"I arrived knowing I needed time away for myself, yet carrying quiet guilt and shame for wanting it. Through connection with other women, journaling, and gentle healing, I found love, stillness, and a deep sense of calm within this Whispers of the Wild retreat. I remembered that I am a traveler on this road of life, able to honor where I am and continue forward, wherever the path leads, I am still learning, still becoming. To any woman considering this space, know this: you do not have to change a thing. COME AS YOU ARE."
Donna (Michigan)
"This experience helped me soften into exactly where I am in my life. In the stillness, I remembered that I am worthy, just as I am. I felt held in such deep safety that I no longer needed to fill the quiet with noise. Instead, I learned how to welcome the peace.
For the woman considering this retreat, know that this is a gift you give yourself before you fully understand how much you need it. It is a return to yourself. A refreshing, rejuvenating balm for the soul."
Jennifer (Michigan)
