Rooted by the Dunes is intentionally created for women who are carrying a lot and quietly craving space to be held.

The intention is to offer nervous system safety, emotional grounding, and deep permission to slow down without travel, overwhelm, or spiritual pressure.

This retreat exists so you do not have to wait for someday or the perfect timing to choose yourself.

The land, the practices, and the container are here to support your first exhale, your first pause, and your first step back into yourself.

An Incredible Itinerary Awaits

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR THE THREE DAYS

This three-night retreat begins with a gentle Thursday evening arrival at 5 PM, inviting your body to slow down and your nervous system to settle as you enter a safe, supportive space. Over the following days, you are nourished through thoughtfully prepared meals based on the retreat tier you choose, gentle movement, sound bath healing, journaling, and time in nature, all designed to support deep rest and release. The rhythm of the retreat allows old patterns and limiting beliefs to soften as your body and mind experience safety, care, and spaciousness. Our time together closes with a shared final dinner and heartfelt closing circle on Saturday evening, honoring the healing that has unfolded. Sunday morning offers a quiet transition with coffee and grab and go breakfast before departure by 10 AM, so you leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more connected to yourself.

DAY 01

Arrival & Soul Connection

Afternoon (The Whisper: Awaken the Wild Within)

DAY 02

Self-Love and Soften

Morning (Root and Rise: Return to Body and Earth)
✧ Option to have a quiet breakfast, coffee, tea, and connection
✧ Sound healing, yoga, and breathwork to connect to the earth. 
✧ Options: massage, oracle card readings, private healing, or yoga

Afternoon (Let it Flow: Release, Soften, and Surrender)
✧ Integration circle with journaling and ecstatic dancing to release fears and worries
✧ Lunch options or free time for lunch on your own
✧ Optional visit to Lake Michigan for personal reflection time 

Evening 
✧ Nourishing community meal for dinner
✧ Campfire Ceremony for releasing fears and worries with options for herbal  bedtime tea
✧ Optional Elevated S'mores at campfire and face masks for self-care

DAY 03

Reclaim and Remember

Morning (Ignite Your Fire: Reclaim Your Inner Radiance)
✧ Morning movement: nature walk or gentle yoga
✧ Sacred breakfast foods with coffee, tea, water, and connection 
✧ Optional: Horseback riding at a local stable for a 1 or 1.5-hour trail ride 

Afternoon (Voice of the Wind: Speak Your Truth. Be Heard) 
✧ Integration Circle with journaling and ecstatic dancing to release and renew
✧ Personal free time, exploring nature, and optional 1:1 sessions
✧ Light seasonal lunch with grounding herbs and fresh foods. 

Evening (The Bloom: Remember Who You Are)
✧ Closing Ceremony: "Remember Who You Are."
✧ Farewell Dinner: A nourishing, celebratory meal featuring local ingredients and catered from a local restaurant

Our Montague retreat home is a private, wooded sanctuary designed for rest, connection, and deep exhale. This spacious, multi-level lodge comfortably sleeps up to ten women and offers cozy gathering spaces, peaceful bedrooms, fireplaces, and quiet corners for retreat. Just minutes from Lake Michigan’s dunes and a private beach, the land itself becomes part of the experience. Your retreat includes access to all Whispers of the Wild signature classes, including The Whisper, Root & Rise, Let It Flow, Ignite Your Fire, Voice of the Wind, and The Bloom. Each gathering is optional and gently guided, allowing you to move at your own pace. For those who desire additional ease and nourishment, a meal package is available, featuring thoughtfully prepared, grounding meals so you can fully receive, rest, and remain present without tending to logistics. This is luxury rooted in simplicity, nature, and being deeply cared for.

Sarah Nussdorfer guides women who feel exhausted from carrying too much for too long. She creates deeply safe, nature-rooted spaces where women can soften their nervous systems, exhale fully, and feel held enough to listen inward. Through her grounded presence and gentle guidance, women are supported in releasing survival mode and remembering their inner strength, intuition, and wild wisdom. In Sarah’s spaces, healing unfolds not through effort, but through safety, rest, and coming home to oneself.

WHAT YOU COVER 

Flights & Transportation – Flights & airport taxi costs to and from the retreat location are not included. Please carpool if possible. 

Personal Clothing & Comfort Items – Pack comfortable layers, yoga wear, and weather-appropriate gear. Remember that it is chilly in MIchigan after the sun goes down, but can be hot during the day. I recommend LOTS of layers. Bring your bathing suit. Also, please bring your yoga mat and let me know if you need straps, blocks, pillows, or other props. 

Meals - Not included in some tiers of pricing. Be sure to pick a tier with the meal plan if you want to have meals included.  

Personal Toiletries & Medications – Basic amenities provided (soap, dish soap, laundry detergent) but bring any personal care items.

Extra Snacks & Specialty Drinks – While meals are included, you may want personal snacks or beverages, or have extras for times when we are not together.

Your place is held with a $500 deposit. From there, you’ll receive a simple link to complete your remaining balance in the way that feels most easeful to you. You’re welcome to pay in full or choose a gentle payment plan, monthly or biweekly, with everything settled about ten weeks before we gather.
